It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to get any pictures!

Today’s outfit is inspired by the Japanese mori girl trend.

The last few photos I got very distracted by my roommates sweet one-eyed cat, Aerie.

Steampunk Lolita for Dragoncon.

I have wanted to do a steampunk inspired lolita coordinate for a long time now. I had so much fun putting these two outfits together, and I am pretty damn proud of them.  Yeahhh for magically pulling steampunk looks out of my closet.

I just wish we’d had the time for a better photoshoot. :( Maybe pull these out again and go to Gryphon Tea Room in Savannah.

Putting this here :D

Savannah Lolita Weekend Sunday Afternoon

Thanks to StarExorcist for taking the pics for me!

I found the most precious dress at Clothing Warehouse. I walked past it and just had to have it. I went in on my lunchbreak to try it on.

A local woman makes these using vintage patterns and fabrics.

The description on the tag describes it as:

“A sweet girly frock that’s as classic as it’s name. This dress features a “garden party” print with navy details… including vintage buttons! Like all of my clothing it is an entirely handmade, one of a kind creation crafted using an authentic vintage pattern from 1956. Enjoy!”

My favorite thing about it, is t hat it has a similar cut to it as some Mary Magdalene dresses, and it  accommodates  my fluffy petticoat wonderfully. So with a little bit of outfitting I think it makes a wonderful Lolita dress.

I wore this dress to work and it was a great hit~ I do wish I’d gotten a few pictures with my bunny umbrella as well, since it was rainy.
